I'm also looking for an affordable workshop manual. I've ordered the new cables and a carb rebuild kit and a battery (I know I don't need one to kick over the bike though). It looks like the wheels have some corrosion, particularly the front, so will need to find a set somewhere. It most noticeably needs an exhaust, clutch and throttle cable (existing one very worn), a carb slide, rear indicators, new tyres and a points cover. It seems mostly complete but not running, however engine isn't seized and compression seems ok. The previous owner painted the frame, frame and tank etc years ago but it has been sitting for at least 4 years unused. I picked this little beast up locally for a very affordable price. I don't have much experience with working on bikes, so I hope I can get input from those with more knowledge than myself. I figured I'd start a thread on my new project, a '74 XL100. Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum but have already been able to find a massive amount of great info.
